You should examine two Areas of Knowledge.
- No introduction
- No conclusion
- No citations
- Thesis statement and one knowledge question
- Three additional paragraphs
- One example per paragraph
- First example demonstrates the importance of memory
- Second example demonstrates problems with memory
- Third example examines the strengths and weaknesses of memory as a Way of Knowing
- One example must be original, i.e. not from class or from the blog
- 70% of your essay must be analysis
- Therefore, you must describe your examples briefly

- How can we decide if we should believe something?
- Which ways of knowing influence our understanding?
- How does memory help us understand the world better?
- What are the problems with using memory as a way of understanding the world?
